DANA
J. CLAUSEN was born in Los Angeles, California. She was admitted to
the California Bar in 2002 and joined White O'Connor Fink & Brenner LLP the
same year. Ms. Clausen earned her JD from UCLA School of Law in 2002,
where she received Moot Court honors in 2000-01 and served on the Moot
Court Advisory Board in 2001-02. During law school, Ms. Clausen
externed for the Honorable Samuel Bufford of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court
and assisted with Holocaust reparations through Bet Tzedek - The House
of Justice. Ms. Clausen received her undergraduate degree from Pomona
College in 1999 and studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh in
Scotland.
Ms. Clausen has a broad base of experience in
business and entertainment litigation, including intellectual
property, idea submission, First Amendment, defamation, employment,
real estate, and contract law issues.
Since joining White O'Connor Fink & Brenner LLP, Ms.
Clausen has remained active with pro bono matters, most recently
protecting the rights of indigent farm workers. In 2004, Ms. Clausen
was recognized by Bet Tzedek for her volunteer legal work and was also
honored with the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services by
the Board of Governors of the State Bar of California.
Ms. Clausen is a member of the Los Angeles
County Bar Association, the California State Bar Association, and the
American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the
California state courts and the Ninth Circuit.

Pretrial Attacks on Fraud Claims in the Idea Submission Context,"
published in the Fall 2008 edition of the
American Bar Association's
